The longer they are the ones without a President in the White House, the longer they can play up the “persecuted conservative/Christian” angle which is undoubtedly good for business. As the article examines, Fox News gets along by creating controversy, not by following actual news-related events. If Nancy Pelosi is the biggest democrat on the national stage (instead of a guy who looks like he could be Muslim), the amount of controversy they can create goes way down.
